TWC Topological Weighted Centroid  (Semeion©)

Il TWC (Topological Weighted Centroid) di N entità  in uno spazio bidimensionale, può essere definito come centro di massa di queste entità, pesato dal rapporto  di vicinanza che ognuna di queste intrattiene con le altre entità. Il TWC rappresenta il punto in cui l’entropia è minima, quindi è il punto da cui (se ci  si dovesse posizionare lì) gli altri punti generano  la massima informazione.

Segue un esempio di elaborazione sulle coordinate  geografiche dei luoghi (in totale 13) dove sono stati individuati casi di epidemia da Escherichia Coli in Germania nel 2011.
