ACTIVITIES OF SEMEION

• Basic research oriented to conceiving and designing of Artificial Organisms constituted by adaptive systems based on Artificial Neural Networks and Evolutive Algorithms for the simulation, the prediction and control of processes and phenomena;
• Applied Research mainly aimed to the construction of intelligent computer science models in the bio-medical, financial and social fields;
• Education of researchers about the methodologies and the techniques of application of the Artificial Adaptive Systems to different research fields;
• The spreading of research models, of projects and of scientific testing invented inside Semeion;
• Publication of scientific discoveries, of the results of research work and experimentation carried out by Semeion’s researchers, nationally and internationally. .
